DBT Mindfulness Skills aim to merge your Logical and Emotional Mind, enhancing your ability to perceive the world objectively. They are designed to assist you in performing other DBT Skills more effectively and to elevate your awareness and decision-making skills.

DBT Mindfulness Skills are not intended for achieving enlightenment or attaining inner peace.

Similar to all our 'Tools' applications, we provide an introduction to what DBT entails. While DBT comprises a set of skills, it is also accompanied by a distinct culture and approach to teaching and learning. Understanding the basics of DBT better equips you to identify how these skills can be seamlessly integrated into your daily routine.

We will then delve into the 7 DBT Mindfulness skills:

 <li>Sensory Observation: A stimulating exercise designed to heighten your sensory awareness.</li>
 <li>5-3 Describe: A practice to enhance presence and mindfulness.</li>
 <li>Left Brain, Right Brain, Participate!: A tool that aids in engaging both logical and emotional faculties for mindful participation.</li>
 <li>Rewriting Judgments: An exercise to help reframe common judgments for improved perspective.</li>
 <li>One Minute, One Mind: A tool focusing on singular tasks to boost mindfulness.</li>
 <li>Were they Effective?: A tool to distinguish between being right and being effective for enhanced interpersonal interactions.</li>
 <li>The Silence Between Breaths: A customizable breathing exercise suitable for all environments.</li>
 <li>The Acceptance Loop: A tool facilitating acceptance of various circumstances, both minor and significant.</li>
