DBT Mindfulness Skills aim to merge your Logical and Emotional Mind, enhancing your ability to perceive the world objectively. They are designed to assist you in performing other DBT Skills more effectively and to elevate your awareness and decision-making skills.
DBT Mindfulness Skills are not intended for achieving enlightenment or attaining inner peace.
Similar to all our 'Tools' applications, we provide an introduction to what DBT entails. While DBT comprises a set of skills, it is also accompanied by a distinct culture and approach to teaching and learning. Understanding the basics of DBT better equips you to identify how these skills can be seamlessly integrated into your daily routine.
We will then delve into the 7 DBT Mindfulness skills:
